The 9th annual "Burn the Turkey" Nashville training rides will be on Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd, followed by BToGS on Saturday the 24th.  

Pay close attention to the schedule and location of each ride below as starting points and start times vary.  Thursday the annual Boulevard Bolt takes place at 8:00 AM with many cyclists cheering on family and friends.  Therefore, we'll start at 10:00 AM on Thursday from the Model Airplane Fields.  On Friday we'll begin at 9:00 AM from the entrance to Percy Warner Park on Belle Meade Boulevard.

The first two days on Thursday and Friday of Burn the Turkey the total ride time will be 2 hours of endurance pace with no serious efforts (unless you feel frisky!).  Day 3 of Burn the Turkey consists of the Be There or Get Slower (BToGS) Saturday morning training ride from the Model Airplane Fields.  This ride usually lasts for 3 hours or more.  

We have a special guest planned for Day 3.  Robin Farina, native Nashvillian and former Elite Women RR National Champion, will be joining us to ride on Saturday.  Robin has raced professionally since 2006 and currently races with Now and Novartis for MS.  This is a great opportunity for local women to ride with someone who has "been there and done that."  Visit this link at USA Cycling for Robin's bio.
