To all bicyclists in Tennessee - now is the time to put up or shut up.  We all talk about wanting and deserving respect on the road, but what are you actively doing to ensure this happens?

The first two weeks of 2012 have been a memorable whirlwind.  I kicked it off by traveling to Madison for Cyclocross Nationals immediately followed by UCI Masters Cyclocross Worlds in Louisville.

I was recently confronted with the emotions of shame and disappointment mixed with some anger, all of which came upon me suddenly and unexpected.

As I arose early for coffee and breakfast the snow began to fall, mixed with occasional rain, and all I could think was, “Yep, today is going to be memorable, dare I say epic conditions.” 

I had no idea what I was getting myself into.  My cyclocross experience has been unchartered territory since day one, and frankly I expect it to continue for awhile to come.
